HAMAS CALLS FOR GLOBAL MOBILIZATION TO END ISRAELI GENOCIDE IN GAZA

Hamas Calls for Global Mobilization to End Israeli Genocide in Gaza

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Hamas, the Palestinian resistance movement, issued a call for large-scale protests in the coming days, demanding the opening of the Rafah border crossing and an end to the Israeli regime's genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

In a statement released on Thursday, Hamas urged the Palestinian people in the occupied territories and across the world, as well as the Arab and Muslim world, to participate in mass protests on Friday and Sunday under the banners "Open the Rafah crossing" and "Stop the genocidal war on Gaza."

The statement emphasized the need for global participation, stating, "We call on our people throughout the homeland and outside, and on all the members of the Arab and Islamic nation, and the free people of the world, to intensify the popular mobilization in the coming days, and to demonstrate actively on Friday and Sunday under the slogan ‘Open the Rafah crossing’ and ‘Stop the genocidal war on Gaza.’"

Hamas cited the "horrific massacres and the genocidal war" committed by the Israeli regime and its "Nazi army" against unarmed Palestinian civilians, particularly children and women, as the motivation behind these protests.

The call for protests coincides with the dire situation in Gaza, where the healthcare system is on the brink of collapse, intensifying the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the besieged enclave.

The Rafah border crossing serves as the only lifeline for Gaza's 2.3 million residents, who are grappling with severe shortages of food, water, medicine, and fuel due to the Israeli blockade.

The conflict in Gaza was triggered by Israel's attack on October 7 following a surprise offensive by Hamas-led resistance groups into Israeli-occupied territories in response to Israel's intensified actions against the Palestinian people.

Medical sources in Gaza report a death toll of at least 7,028, a figure that includes 2,913 children, 1,709 women and 397 elderly.

The Reuters/Ipsos survey found only 32 percent of respondents said “the US should support Israel”. That is down from 41 percent from a poll conducted on October 12-13 – just days after the war broke out. About 68 percent of respondents said they agreed with the statement, “Israel should call a ceasefire and try to negotiate”. Some 39 percent supported the idea “the US should be a neutral mediator”, compared with 27 percent a month earlier. Only 4 percent of respondents said the United States should support Palestinians, while 15 percent said the US shouldn’t be involved at all in the war. While the US has been a significant Israeli ally, just 31 percent of respondents said they supported sending Israel weapons. The plunge in support fol

Iraq’s Resistance Forces Target Israeli Settlement of 'Eilat' in Support of Gaza

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for an attack on the Israeli settlement of "Eilat" for the second time in two weeks, vowing to carry out more attacks against the Israeli occupation amid the regime's bombardment campaign against Gaza.  The Iraqi resistance movement, an umbrella group of anti-terror fighters, announced in a statement published on its Telegram channel on Sunday that they targeted the illegal Israeli settlement south of occupied Palestine. The settlement is built on the ruins of the Palestinian town of Umm al-Rashrash. "In support of our Ummah (people) in Gaza, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and elders, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted a site in occupied Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat) using appropriate weapons," the statement said.
