  TEHRAN (FNA)- Commander of Khatam ol-Anbia Headquarters Major General Gholam Ali Rashid lashed out at Washington for adopting hypocritical policy towards the Gaza conflict, and further said that the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) along with the Israeli military commanders are leading the war against the besieged enclave. TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Eight Syrian soldiers were killed and seven more wounded in an Israeli airstrike in southwest Syria. According to Syria's state news agency (SANA), this incident occurred due to Israel's "aerial aggression" targeting several military positions in proximity to the southwestern city of Deraa. Additionally, the attack resulted in substantial material damage. SANA's report specified that the assault transpired at approximately 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday, as per Syrian local time (2245 GMT on Tuesday). TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The United States has significantly increased its military presence in the Middle East region amid the ongoing Israeli violence in Gaza, as announced by the Pentagon.  In a statement released on Saturday, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin disclosed that he had authorized the deployment of a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) battery and additional Patriot battalions to undisclosed locations in the Middle East to enhance the protection of US forces.
