Increase in Demand for Bangladeshi Flags in Pakistan Following Sheikh Hasina’s Regime Change

After the fall of the pro India regime in Bangladesh, there has been a significant increase in the demand for Bangladeshi flags in Pakistan. This surge in interest can be attributed to a variety of factors that have emerged in the political landscape of the region. The changing dynamics have led to a noticeable shift in how people in Pakistan are expressing their sentiments and affiliations. As a result, the Bangladeshi flag has become a symbol of solidarity and support inside Pakistan.

Bangladesh Says UN to Probe ‘Atrocities’ Committed during Unrest

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A United Nations team will travel to Bangladesh to investigate “atrocities” committed during the unrest that toppled premier Sheikh Hasina last week, the country’s interim government said in a statement Thursday. “The United Nations is sending a UN fact finding team next week to probe atrocities committed during the Student Revolution in July and early this month,” the statement said, AFP reported. It added that the move had been discussed between UN human rights chief Volker Turk and interim Bangladeshi leader Muhammad Yunus during a phone call late Wednesday. The statement said the fact-finding mission would be tasked with investigating “widespread human rights abuses.” Hasina’s government was accused of many such abuses during her 15 years in power, including the mass detention and extrajudicial killing of political opponents. She fled by helicopter to India — where she remains — 10 days ago as student-led protests flooded Dhaka’s streets in a dramatic end to her...

Police Back on Bangladesh Capital’s Streets As Strike Ends

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Bangladeshi police resumed patrols of the capital Dhaka on Monday, ending a weeklong strike that left a law and order vacuum following the abrupt ouster of autocratic ex-premier Sheikh Hasina. Officers vanished from the streets of the sprawling megacity of 20 million people last week after Hasina’s resignation and flight abroad ended her 15-year rule, AFP reported. Police were loathed for spearheading a lethal crackdown on the weeks of protests that forced her departure, with 42 officers among the more than 450 people killed. Police had vowed not to resume work until their safety on duty was guaranteed, but they agreed to return after late-night talks with the new interim government, helmed by Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus. “It’s good to be back,” assistant commissioner Snehasish Das said while standing at a busy intersection directing traffic. “As we feel secure now, we are back on duty.” Student-led protests against Hasina’s government had been largely peace...

BANGLADESH REJECTED U.S. DEMAND TO JOIN ABRAHAM ACCORDS FOR ISRAEL TIES - IT WAS A GOOD DECISION

During Trump administration time, U.S. adopted new middle east strategy to protect its regional order from growing Chinese influence. Under this strategy, US normalized Israel ties with many regional powers such as UAE and Bahrain. Bangladesh was also invited to adopt this change in an attempt to create more acceptance for Israel ion Muslim community. However, Dhaka refused to accept such invitation and time has proved that their decision was right.  Advertisement : //nabauxou.net/4/6355757  Advertisement : //potskolu.net/4/6354977 By: Abdul Qayoom Abro  Follow me at YouTube   Facebook and X You can read my books  Here on Amazon

14 western diplomats expressed their displeasure over #russian foreign minister's visit to #dhaka last week. It was the first ever visit of any Russian foreign minister to #bangladesh since 1971. However, Russia has responded strongly on this and #russian embassy in Dhaka has made it quite clear that any attempt to damage Russia's iamge in Bangladesh won't succeed.     By: Abdul Qayoom Abro  Follow me at YouTube   Facebook and X You can read my books  Here on Amazon

Poll: US Public Support for Israel Wanes as 68 Percent Call for Ceasefire

TEHRAN (FNA)- Israel’s war on Gaza is upsetting many Americans who think it must follow growing demands for an immediate ceasefire, according to a new poll. The Reuters/Ipsos survey found only 32 percent of respondents said “the US should support Israel”. That is down from 41 percent from a poll conducted on October 12-13 – just days after the war broke out. About 68 percent of respondents said they agreed with the statement, “Israel should call a ceasefire and try to negotiate”. Some 39 percent supported the idea “the US should be a neutral mediator”, compared with 27 percent a month earlier. Only 4 percent of respondents said the United States should support Palestinians, while 15 percent said the US shouldn’t be involved at all in the war. While the US has been a significant Israeli ally, just 31 percent of respondents said they supported sending Israel weapons. The plunge in support...
