Vote of no confidence against Pakistan’s Imran Khan - Will it be successfull?

Days after Imran Khan’s Moscow visit, massive political crisis took Pakistan into its embrace, which has raised the eyebrows of many analysts in this region. Some of them are of the view that perhaps US is behind all this political turmoil to change Pakistan's pro Russia - pro China Imran Khan Government.

Almost all opposition parties have united against Imran khan on single agenda that is to remove him from the post of the Prime Minister and for that purpose, a vote of no confidence has been moved to the parliament of Pakistan, which means according to the constitution, Imran Khan must prove his government’s majority in Pakistani parliament. Effectively the support of 172 members of parliament is required out of 342 members to form government  or  to prove the majority.

Now the problem for Imran Khan is that he is running a coalition government. Imran Khan’s Tehreek e Insaf party has only 155 seats in the National Assembly and as mentioned above, in order to form a governing at least 172 seats are required which Imran Khan has gathered somehow by including few smaller parties in his coalition Such as MQM and Pakistan Muslim League Q. However when this vote of no confidence was moved, over 10 member of parliament from Imran Khan’s own party PTI joined the opposition benches and announced that they will vote against their own government because they are not satisfied with the performance of their government. So in order to come out of these crisis Imran khan is reaching out to his allies. Amid worsening political situation, Khan has shown his trump card as he decided to bring one of his allies Pakistan Muslim League (Q)‘s leader as Chief minister Punjab. Why he did that? Apparently, there are two reasons, one is that Imran Khan wants the votes of his allies in that vote of no confidence to complete the numbers and secondly Khan’s aim would be to divide the vote bank of Muslim league Nawaz (his biggest political rival) in its home ground Punjab.

Now,  if Pakistan Muslim league Q is able to split PMLN by bringing their electable in Q league's camp, and if they are able to get sizeable seats in upcoming elections using the platform which Imran Khan has provided to them in Punjab by offering them the  post of Chief Minister, Imran Khan could be able to form a powerful government in upcoming elections with the help of Pakistan Muslim league Q. But on the other hand opposition parties have decided to bring Shahbaz Sharif as the PM candidate in case their vote of no confidence move is getting success. Which means if Shahbaz Sharif is becoming the Prime Minister instead of Imran Khan, it will be huge boost for the PMLN in Punjab and it won’t be easy for the Muslim league Q to achieve its desired objectives in Punjab.

So this final round of this political turmoil in Pakistan is getting interesting as it’s heading towards the make or break situation for the Pakistan Muslim league N and other opposition groups of the country.

Poll: US Public Support for Israel Wanes as 68 Percent Call for Ceasefire

TEHRAN (FNA)- Israel’s war on Gaza is upsetting many Americans who think it must follow growing demands for an immediate ceasefire, according to a new poll. The Reuters/Ipsos survey found only 32 percent of respondents said “the US should support Israel”. That is down from 41 percent from a poll conducted on October 12-13 – just days after the war broke out. About 68 percent of respondents said they agreed with the statement, “Israel should call a ceasefire and try to negotiate”. Some 39 percent supported the idea “the US should be a neutral mediator”, compared with 27 percent a month earlier. Only 4 percent of respondents said the United States should support Palestinians, while 15 percent said the US shouldn’t be involved at all in the war. While the US has been a significant Israeli ally, just 31 percent of respondents said they supported sending Israel weapons. The plunge in support fol

Increase in Demand for Bangladeshi Flags in Pakistan Following Sheikh Hasina’s Regime Change

US ‘Biggest Nuclear Threat’: China

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The United States poses the greatest danger to the world when it comes to the risks of a potential nuclear conflict, Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman Zhang Xiaogang told journalists on Friday. Beijing has accused Washington of making “irresponsible decisions” in attempts to maintain its hegemony, including through intimidating the international community with its nuclear arsenal, RT reported. The damning statement came in response to the Pentagon’s decision to upgrade US Forces Japan into a joint force headquarters under the command of a three-star officer reporting to the commander of the Indo-Pacific Command. The announcement was made by the US Defense Department in late July following the meeting of the American and Japanese defense and foreign policy chiefs. US Defense Secretary Llyod Austin hailed the development as “one of the strongest improvements in our military ties with Japan in 70 years” at that time. He also said that the two sides “held a separate
