TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The president of Iran called on the US administration to show its genuine interest in holding negotiations, stressing that Tehran will not approve of talks at any price or under humiliating circumstances. In a meeting with representatives of non-governmental organizations and parties on Monday, President Masoud Pezeshkian said the issue of talks with the US is different from interaction with other countries, because the US has put intense pressure on Iran and issues threats constantly. “We believe in negotiations, but not abjectly. We hold talks with the whole world and do not have a fight with anybody, but we won’t give in to humiliation either and won’t hold negotiations at any price,” the president added.
